Dr. Nick Spinuzza, M.D. is a board-certified medical physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R, also called Physiatry). With over a decade of experience, he utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to diagnose the source of his patients’ symptoms and then develops an individualized plan with each patient to address their needs while emphasizing quality of life and function. Dr. Spinuzza’s primary interest is helping his patients solve and resolve injuries from sports, work, or life in general.

Dr. Spinuzza has prioritized earning the trust and respect of his patients and colleagues throughout his distinguished training and sought out roles and opportunities that would allow him to grow and develop his professional skills. He served as President of his Medical School Class at George Washington University and his natural compassion and empathy, coupled with his commitment to patient-centered care, earned him membership into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. After medical school, Dr. Spinuzza was the Vice President of his Intern Class and Chief Resident of his Residency Class at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Dr. Spinuzza’s service as a Major in the United States Army resulted in the development of specialized and unique medical training and leadership skills. Most recently, he served as the Medical Director for the Army’s Intrepid Spirit Center at Fort Campbell (the Department of Defense’s premier interdisciplinary pain management, traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, and sleep center). During his tenure, he significantly improved the issuance of care for Service Members globally and used his expertise to create strategic growth for the Defense Intrepid Network. In 2024, Dr. Spinuzza sought to expand his medical business proficiency and earned a Master of Management in Health Care with honors from Vanderbilt University Owen School of Business. He also volunteered as a Clinical Instructor at Vanderbilt University for PM&R Residents and Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellows.

Dr. Spinuzza specializes in addressing care through conservative management and non-surgical interventional procedures.
