Dr. Pharr is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee, fracture care, shoulder replacement, as well as UCL repair and reconstruction, also known as Tommy John surgery. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University. In the top of his class, he earned his medical degree from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Campbell Clinic where he served as a peer selected Chief Resident during his final year. For subspecialty training in Sports Medicine, he completed an additional fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama with Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center, assisting with team orthopaedic coverage for the University of Alabama 2020-2021 National Champion football team.
Dr. Pharr is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
